Hey everyone
last Saturday was Christian’s Christmas Classic held in Lancaster, PA. Here is
a breakdown of how the events turned out. The opening event was a Max Log press
out of the rack, I was able to win the event by hitting 300, but my goal was
350 so I asked to keep going and hit 320 for 2. The next event was an axle
deadlift for reps in one minute and I won with 15 reps at a weight of 510, the
closest guy had 12. The third event was the yoke walk and in training I was
doing it for 60ft but they changed it to 40ft and I won with a time of 7
seconds with the weight being 750, the next closest time was 12 seconds. The
fourth event was the farmers walk and once again I was training this event for
60ft but it was changed to 40ft. I won this event with a time of 6.8 seconds
with the weight being 295. The last scheduled event was a keg run for 120ft for
fastest time. I was able to win this event with a time of 18.4 seconds and the
weight of the keg was 250. I was able to win every event which led me to an
overall victory at the 1st Annual Christian’s Christmas Classic.
Now
it’s time to move on to the next and prepare for the Winter Strongman Challenge
in January. Keep checking in to take an inside look at my training leading up
to this competition. Below are some videos of this past Saturday.
