Hey everyone I’m about 2 weeks out from New Jersey Strongest
Man and I would like to give an inside look on how my training has been going.
In the past 2 weeks these are some of the numbers and exercises I have been
hitting. I hit 515x3 on a 12inch box squat and I have started a new wave of my
program by adding some band tension to my box squats. On the deadlift I hit 615
for 2x5 which was a PR for me cause I never hit anything over 605 for 5.
Recently this week I started rack deadlifting with bands. The height of the
deadlift is around 16 ½ inches. On the overhead press I hit 285 for 2x5 with
the push press technique. On my bench I hit 325 for 4x4, and this week I will
start including some band tension with my bench. For strongman on Saturday I
plan to train 4 events, including the axle clean n’ press, farmers walk, tire
flips, and stones. Make sure to keep checking in to see my progressions leading
up to March 16th !!
