Hey everyone this past Saturday I competed at a Bigg Dogg strong competition that was sponsored by Harley Davidson. I competed against my friend and training partner Tommy Yannuzzi for first time since 2010 New Jersey Strongest Man. I took 1st place and Tommy took 2nd place. Here is the breakdown of the events:
The first event was a circus dumbbell clean n’ press for reps in 60 secs. The weight was 150 and I hit 8 which took 1st.
The next event was a frame carry at 625 for 50ft, into a sled pull for 50ft. The sled pull was Harley Davidson that was strapped onto a metal plate. The estimating weight was anywhere around from 650 to 750 pounds. I was able to complete this medley in a time of 65 seconds which took 1st.
The third event was the conans wheel which was attached to a Harley Davidson and I made it almost 2 full revolutions which took 1st.
The fourth event was the keg toss which involved 6 kegs being thrown over a 16ft high wall. This was the first time I ever did this event and I finished all 6 kegs in 27 seconds which took 1st.
The last event was stones which was a 330 stone over a bar for reps in 60 seconds. I was the last to go so the number to beat was 5 and I hit 6 with some time still left on the clock.
Overall I took 1st place and with this win it qualifies me for Nationals. The next competition is going to be in Massachusetts for the Massachusetts State Championship. Keep checking in for an inside look at my training from month to month. Thank you for all the support!!!
