Incorporating Battle Ropes into your training is a very beneficial
addition to any type of training program. Whether you are exercising to
get stronger, bigger, or even trying to shed some pounds. You can
include these ropes into your program to add some variation.
At our facility we use these ropes almost every day
within various training sessions that consist of high school and college
athletes, washed up meatheads, and some women warriors. Most people
enjoy using them because they are BADASS and a fun way of changing
things up. We use them for cardio, muscular endurance, and conditioning.
There are many different sizes and styles of ropes you can use for
different exercises.
For stronger people and/or shorter periods of time we
use the heavier ropes to make things more difficult. You can vary it up
anyway you want from two hands at once, one hand then the other, from
your knees, or even jumping up off the ground. The best part about these
ropes is the fact that the more effort you give, the more beneficial
they become. I tell all of my clients, “Just keep them moving!” You need
to give these exercises 100% if you wish to truly feel accomplishment.
